POWERCHINA will build energy facilities in Ghana

On September 1, Hengfeng met with a Ghanaian delegation led by Ghanaian President Akufo Ado and signed an agreement to develop infrastructure projects in Ghana. Yan Xuetong described the presence of CLP in Ghana and thanked the Ghanaian government for its long standing trust and support. He added that China power is an integrated construction group that provides investment and financing, planning, design, engineering, construction, equipment manufacturing and operational management for water and hydropower projects and infrastructure. It ranks first in the world in the planning, design and construction of electric power projects and ranks 182nd in the world top 500. Yan Xuetong pointed out that since its entry into the Ghanaian market in 2004, China Hengfengyou has been actively involved in energy, power and infrastructure construction in Ghana.

Chinese energy has facilitated resource allocation and localization of employment, provided employment opportunities and vocational training, and promoted the development of Ghana's local economy. HSBC is willing to meet the needs of the Ghanaian government and is committed to building more projects to improve the lives of local people and contribute to a common future for China and Africa. Akufo Ado said he was pleased to meet Chinese forces during his state visit to China and that the Ghanaian government attaches great importance to cooperation with Chinese companies. He thanked China for its contribution to Ghana's economic and social development. The Bui Hydropower Station is the first large-scale mixed-loan project in Africa and has been well received by the public. He said it serves as a model for Ghana's major engineering universities, adding that Ghana is willing to further strengthen cooperation with China's powerful nations. He noted that Ghana would pledge its full support to more Chinese power projects in the future.
